| Q: |
What is a typical
work schedule and how often will I be home? |
| A: |
The work schedules generally
are where you leave out Sunday, Sunday night
or Monday depending on your assigned load
and the location of your delivery. Naturally
if you have a long trip you would have to
leave early Sunday. Those trucks with their
first delivery within a short distance from
their home could leave early Monday. The average
radius for the fleet would be just over 500
miles. Drivers living in an active lane may
find themselves home during the week. Most
drivers are home on or before Saturday morning,
some earlier. If they get in late Saturday
or early Sunday, the drivers can ask to run
short for Monday to get your full 34 hours
off to restart on your 70 hours. |
