Cheeseman LLC, a leading full service transportation company providing our customers with LTL, TL, dedicated, drayage, leasing and warehouse services, is seeking an individual to lead our field Sales team. This position will be primarily responsible for leading and directing our network transportation sales, branch services, and equipment leasing business units. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Create and drive a strategic sales initiative to exceed company revenue and tonnage growth targets • Direct, lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the sales team to exceed primary company objectives • Manage and expand key business relationships within the branch services business unit to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded. • Oversee contract negotiations to improve yield and ensure service commitments are met or exceeded. • Maintain account development and growth, providing cost effective solutions to meet targeted account needs. • Collaborate with team members to secure the terms of sale and utilization of specialty equipment throughout the network • Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, and Fleet Maintenance Teams to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded. Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years experience in Less-Than-Truckload or Load-To-Ride account management with proven skills in strategic planning, client communications, rate negotiations, and territory management.
